Friendly landing ground The Turosn Koscielna landing ground is located 14 km south-east of Bialystok. On its southern side it ends with a wood, whereas on the northern side in the distance of 200 m there is a commune football ground with short trees (3-4 m). The club building with the hangar are on the eastern side of the landing ground, halfway down its length by the road. On top of it there is a windsock installed. Accommodation possible for a few people. The nearest petrol station ca. 7 km. The ground is open for anybody who feels the need or wishes to use it. The ground's (N 53 00'05", E 23 03'27") owner is the Bialystok Aviation Society. The take-off ground is 550 metres long. The width of the airstrip ca. 120m, on average. On the landing ground one can see motor-paragliders, ULMs, paragliders, balloons. And... horses. The Bialystok Aviation Society made friends with the "Zaza" Equestrian Club.
